Rachel Saunders
Hello! My name is Mrs. Rachel Saunders, and I am honored to be a part of the Shining Star Christian Prep Academy family. I am passionate about creating a positive, nurturing, and engaging classroom where every child feels valued, encouraged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
I believe that each student is uniquely gifted by God and learns best in an environment filled with love, patience, creativity, and encouragement. My goal is to help students develop not only academically but also socially, emotionally, and spiritually while fostering a lifelong love for learning.
I strive to make learning meaningful through hands-on activities, collaboration, and opportunities that build confidence and critical thinking skills. Working closely with families is an important part of my teaching philosophy, and I believe that strong partnerships between home and school help every child succeed.
Outside of the classroom, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, exploring new learning ideas, and finding creative ways to make education exciting and memorable for my students.
Dajushia Taylor
Hello and welcome! My name is Ms. Dajushia Taylor, and I am thrilled to be part of the Shining Star Christian Prep Academy family. Teaching is more than a profession to me—it's an opportunity to inspire, encourage, and make a positive impact in the lives of every student I have the privilege to teach.
I believe that every child has unique talents and abilities, and my goal is to create a safe, supportive, and engaging classroom where students feel confident to explore, learn, and grow. I strive to foster a love of learning by making lessons interactive, meaningful, and fun while helping students develop strong academic, social, and character-building skills.

Hannah Medina
Welcome! My name is Ms. Hannah Medina, and I am truly honored to be a part of the Shining Star Christian Prep Academy family. I am excited to begin this school year and look forward to creating a classroom where every student feels welcomed, supported, and encouraged to become the very best version of themselves.
As an educator, I believe learning goes beyond textbooks and tests. My goal is to inspire confidence, foster curiosity, and help students develop a love for learning that will last a lifetime. I strive to create a positive, Christ-centered environment where children feel comfortable asking questions, trying new things, and celebrating their achievements together.
Every child has unique strengths and God-given gifts, and I am committed to helping each student discover their potential while growing academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually. I believe that kindness, respect, responsibility, and perseverance are just as important as academic success, and I work to instill those values in my classroom every day.
Building meaningful relationships with students and their families is one of the most rewarding parts of teaching. I value open communication and believe that when teachers and parents work together, children are empowered to thrive both in and out of the classroom.
